update on my Chipotle burrito... [29 Jan 2009|11:38pm]

And I got it!

And i took a picture of it's loveliness, pictured with a bottle of chipotle tabasco sauce (it's actually really quite tasty with it!)

my typical chipotle burrito:

normal to little rice
pinto beans
fajita veggies
sour cream

all that double wrapped into their gorgeously soft flour tortillas.

I'm going for dinner in between my classes tomorrow whether my boyfriend likes it or not. And i'm making him drive there.

It was delicious. [15 Aug 2005|12:37am]

Today I got a veggie fajita burrito before I went to work.

There was one YELLOW pepper amidst my green pepper and onion fajita vegetables..

It blew my mind.

So check this out. I got a fajita burrito, barbacoa, mild salsa, cheese, and lettuce right? I paid 5.45 for it. Then i went to work. With my burrito, mind you, as i planned on eating at work. Now i was at work for a little over an hour. I work at a restaurant, so employees are sent home if business is slow. Now i made 6.74 at work. However, i did absolutlely no work whatsoever. I sat in the bar eating my delectable Chipotle, much to the envy of my coworkers, and was shortly thereafter sent home. So in reality i was paid 6.74 to eat Chipotle! That is a difference of 1.29 between what i was paid and how much the burrito cost me! So not only was i paid to sit around eating Chipotle, but i actually made a profit doing it too!

Lack of communication between server and customer [25 Jul 2005|09:01pm]

So I ordered a steak burrito today, and I like lettuce, tomatos, cheese and salsa in addition to black beans and the default rice on my burrito.

Well, then it was time to get my burrito customized, the server rushed me and after I asked her for tomatoes, she quickly said "Cheese and sour cream?" I figured sour cream wouldn't be so bad once although it's not my preference and I answered yes.

And when the sour cream and cheese was added, she folded the burrito and that was it.

No lettuce or salsa!!!! Whatever...

And I ate it just as fast. So the moral of the story is to harass the server to put all the sides on at once so they don't think you only want one thing.

Blood for a Burrito [23 Jun 2005|02:35pm]

*Forgot that this community exsisted until Emma posted to it*

I should retell a Chipotle related story that happened a couple weeks ago.

So, while voluntering at the Artworks office, I was helping Colieen Stanton (summer program coordinator) rearrange the draws in the file cabinet. Well, the cabinet is ghetto and one of the draws got stuck in its track. So, my teammate tucked on the track while and held the draw steady...and she cut her finger on the track and had to go to the emergency room for stiches.

Meanwhile, Colieen was scheduled to attend a meeting with Tamara Harkavey, the executive of Artworks, at the time she was at the hostipal. Tamara needs Colieen to take notes for her, because taking notes is to menial of a task to do herself and without anyone to take notes, she swifted scouted for a substitute: me.

So, I had no idea what this meeting was about and was briefed in the car, but the purpose was to brainstorm ideas for one of this years Artworks summer projects. I not only took sputid notes, but have impressive ideas, and Tamara was so impressed with the responce from the other representatives that she brought me lunch.

Chitople, that is.

So, the moral of the story is sometimes you have to watch someone bleed to get free Chipotle. I kinda feel bad that if Colieen hadn't sliced herself, then I wouldn't have gone to that meeting, hence no free Chipotle.

But she only needed 4 stiches and now she all better, so I guess it was a happy ending.

The end.

2 hours and 15 minutes until Chipotle closes -

today, being the first day of summer, chipotle is celebrating by turning your receipt for a burrito bought today for a free burrito for later.

so, I'm about to go with my brother and take complete advantage of this by buying four burritos at two locations for our family and thus receiving four free burritos later.

btw, first post.
